The International School Twente is based in Enschede, one of the cities within the Twente region (in the eastern part of The Netherlands, close to the German border and the city of Münster).
The International School Twente offers education in English for children aged 4-12.


International community
Thanks to funding from the Dutch government, the IST will be able to provide high quality international education for a reasonable school fee.
IST uses the International Primary Curriculum as its core curriculum.
IPC promotes the integration of essential skills, values and attitudes across all program areas.
Our curriculum also builds a solid foundation in English literacy and numeracy.
Modern teaching technologies are being employed to achieve optimal results.

IST offers a caring community in which each child feels valued.

The school promotes an environment in which individual talents can develop, as such encouraging confidence, self esteem and mutual respect.

The integration process is being facilitated by closely working together with the Prinseschool.
